Ever heard the phrase “take a load off!” when being offered a seat? Well, it couldn’t be further from the truth. Watch this animation and see how sitting places more strain on the spine than standing, and why it requires an inversion table to really “take a load off.”
What’s my favorite thing about our products? They allow you to be in control of your health. I’m a busy person – a full-time job and a family doesn’t leave a lot of time for self pampering, especially when it requires making an appointment. However, I need ways to de-stress, relax, and literally unfold myself after hours in my office chair, so having the inversion table in my home gives me a fast solution to feeling better. I luckily don’t have back pain, thanks to years of proactive inversion, but I can’t escape compression and stress. Inversion is my daily ‘massage therapist’ and a perfect opportunity to entice my boy for more kisses!
Anti-aging is an ever increasing interest of Americans. We all want to stay youthful for a lifetime. I know I have personally invested in tons of things with health (and perhaps a little vanity) as my motivation.
However, we often forget about what really helps us stay young, and that is ACTIVITY. This fact is constantly reinforced by watching my father, who at 73 is more active than I am! He water-skis, snow-skies, bikes for 15-miles and even takes up new sports, like surfing and kite-boarding.
Nothing makes you feel older than being forced to sit out from activities you love. However, we are not given a lot of solutions on how to care for the back and joints. Stretches focus on muscles but only inversion goes deeper and actually targets the joints and discs. Decompression allows joints to hydrate, offering lubrication and nutrition to the soft tissue, as well as strengthens ligaments, reduces nerve pressure, and realigns and relaxes muscles. Don’t wait until you have joint and back pain! Start a healthy inversion routine now and see the pay off as you age.
One of our favorite things about what we get to do everyday at Teeter is talk to our customers! You all have lots of great questions and we try to address some of the most common ones on our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. Every Friday, we’ll focus on one FAQ in more detail. We encourage you to email us or post a comment with additional questions and we’ll send you an answer  you may even see your question pop up on a future blog post!
How To Exercise On Your Teeter
With over 2 million inversion table users in the past 30 years, Teeter has a lot of fans… but perhaps none more energetic than those who have inverted their way to flat abs, defined legs and cuter buns!
While a nice tush can make a fan out of anybody, perhaps the real reason why they are advocates is because they get results faster with less pain!
So once Teeter has helped you lose the back pain (which was most likely caused by weak and tired core muscles), don’t hide your inversion table under the bed or behind the door. Get back on it and work on strengthening the key groups of muscles that will help you combat back pain for years to come with these 4 exercises.
Susan is like a lot of us: She’s a parent that sits at a desk most of the day at her job, then needs to come home only so she can keep going – family events, gardening and anything else the family wants to do together.
Even though she’s loving life, Susan has noticed that when her back feels good she can enjoy the simple things a little more, and Teeter has helped her and her back feel a little better. With her employer making a Teeter available to her and her coworkers at work, and then having a Teeter inversion table at home, Susan has been able to get her back healthy and remain comfortable and confident no matter what lies in front of her.
